beach countdown almost over.....

3 more days until we head to the Tropical Storm area. I have been making myself sick watching the weather and seeing RAIN and STORMS everyday. So this may be the last thing on your list but please pray we get pretty weather in Destin next week and safe travel!

Sorry I don't have any new pictures but maybe this video will do for a little while, it's proof that I can find laughter in my childs despair (never mind I'm just mean). Turn up the sound and watch Aiden go crazy over his own reflection in the stove. If you don't laugh at this then you don't have a sense of humor.

snuggle day...

Most all people who know me knows I make a huge deal out of any holiday no matter what it is. I always think you are supposed to buy new clothes, take lots of pics, and be with family all day for holidays. I know buying new clothes is an excuse but hey it works. On Sunday it was like Aiden knew it was "all about mommy day", he just cuddled with me and wanted to be held most the day which is just fine with me because he never wants to be held. I didn't mean to skip right to Sunday but that was definitely the highlight of my weekend. So anways Friday night we spent more time with great friends, Saturday we spent the day with my family, and Sunday with Brandons family, and Sunday night with my mom. So we didn't sit still at all this weekend but it was enjoyable. By far the best thing about Mothers Day was the sweet angel that made me a mommy- AIDEN!!! Oh one thing I realized this weekend- if you pull a camera out, Aiden runs or turns away! So I only have 1 or 2 pics with him looking.

Aiden got to experience his 1st Strawberry Festival Parade in Humboldt. HE LOVED IT!! More than anything he loved the bands and dancing with them. Beth was great to save us some seats and Tricia, Cade, Millie, and Heather (Tricia's sis in law and niece) all were there to join in the fun. I couldn't post all the pics of the floats or entire parade but here are some.
