tears....

The past 2 weeks so many exciting and heartbreaking tears have been shed.

One of my best friends, Beth, is pregnant. We are soo excited and Aiden told me he can't wait to have a new friend coming in June 2010. She is due a week before my sister in law was.
Yes you read that correctly- was. This brings on the heartbreaking sad tears. This week my sister in law and brother had their 6th miscarriage. I have come to realize we will never have the answers to why God opted for them to go through this but I know 2 wonderful things they came from it- my adoptive nephews!
Please pray for my brother and sister in law during this heartbreaking time.

on the road again...

Tomorrow we will be doing just that...on the road again. This time headed to Gatlinburg for my families vacation. Us, my parents and brothers families will all be staying in 1 cabin for a whole week. 5 kids under the age of 3, prayers please? Just kidding! We are all so excited and anticipating lots of shopping, relaxing, golfing (the boys that is), eating, and a few challenging games of wii bowling! Many new pics coming next week.

For more exciting news..... I WILL BE AN AUNT again! My oldest brother and his wife are expecting their 4th child. The currently have 3 boys ages 3, 2, and 1. They are definitely parents fit for that job. You may remember when my sister in law had my other nephew and the story behind their pregnancy but if not read it from my Oct. 7, 2008 post labeled Miracle Child.

(anyone want to tell me how to do the link so someone can just click on the word "here" and it will go to that page?)

I didn't lie

When I said I love shoes I didn't lie, but I LOVE bargains even more. Even you have kids you know they can not stay in shoes long so I really hate to spend a lot of money on them. Almost all of Aidens shoes are bought from consignment sales, thrift sales, or on sale in the store. Like I said most kids don't wear shoes long so they all almost look new (the ones that don't look nice become play shoes and I will never pay more than 1.00). Here is a glimpse of the shoes Aiden got these past weekends at the thrift/consignment sales (25 pairs):
I don't just buy 1 size. I buy all sizes and put them away until he can wear them.

I didn't mean to buy quite so many pairs of shoes that looked alike. They are all different sizes though.

All the name brand shoes I got. The most I paid for any pair of shoes was 15.00 and that was the Sperry's (that normally cost 50.00). The next highest was 7.00 for the cowboy boots. Everything else was 5.00 or less.
I forgot to include these 5 pair in the big picture...each pair was 1.00!

My child LOVES pizza!!
